Pat Hammond is a Calgary-based public relations professional active in the not-for-profit sector. His work with charitable and cause-related organizations has included federal politics, international development and human services. Currently with the Mental Health Commission of Canada, Pat believes that public relations skills, knowledge and ethics have a unique role to play in helping bring resolution to the challenging issues facing society.

Janice's public relations career began in 1985 as Director, Public Relations at Alberta Children Hospital in Calgary. In 1994 she started teaching in the Public Relations Program at Mount Royal College and became Chair of the Program in 1996. After 12 years she retired to manage communications for Benchmark Projects Ltd., a full service sports and recreation facilities management company she owns with her husband, Tim Ward. She is currently President of CPRS Calgary.
